Terms & Conditions

By installing the Alchemist Chrome extension or using try-alchemist.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Alchemist. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@try-alchemist.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Alchemist offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled.

Prices are shown in USD and may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Cancellation can be done at any time from your account dashboard. You retain access until the end of the current billing period.

No refunds are provided for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, your plan remains active until the period ends.

Billing is processed by Stripe. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

Paid plans include a monthly credit allowance that resets each billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over. We reserve the right to adjust credit limits with reasonable notice.

You agree not to use Alchemist to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing.

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service's API.

• Circumvent usage limits or share your account credentials.

• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.

Alchemist and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You retain ownership of any prompts or content you create using the Service. By using the Service you grant us no rights to your content beyond what is needed to operate it.

The Service relies on third-party providers including Supabase (authentication), Stripe (billing), Vercel (hosting), and OpenAI/Anthropic (AI generation). We are not responsible for the availability or actions of these services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. AI-generated content may be inaccurate — always review outputs before use.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alchemist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and ceasing use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the Service at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after changes constitute acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Alchemist operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
