Use this prompt to generate cold emails that feel personalized, get to the point quickly, and end with a clear, low-friction call to action.

The Prompt

Context:

- Their likely pain point: [The problem they probably have that you solve]
- Social proof: [One relevant proof point — customer name, metric, case study]
- Ask: [What you want them to do — 15-min call, demo, reply, etc.]

Requirements:
- Subject line: curiosity-driven or problem-focused, max 8 words
- Opening: reference something specific about them or their company (not generic flattery)
- Body: 3-4 sentences max — problem, solution, proof
- CTA: one clear, low-friction ask
- Tone: direct and confident, not sycophantic or overly salesy
- Total length: under 100 words in the body

How to Use It

Replace each [bracketed section] with your specific information before sending the prompt to your AI model. The more specific you are about the pain point and proof point, the better the output.

Tips:

• The "specific opening" is the hardest part to get right. Research one real thing about the recipient — a recent post, a company announcement, a job posting. Feed that to the AI as context.
• If you don't have strong social proof yet, use a specific problem statement ("teams like yours often struggle with X") rather than a vague claim.
• Test the subject lines. A/B test at least two per campaign.
